Teen Crashes Car Into Tree On Northern State Parkway
The driver and passenger were both hospitalized after the crash on Tuesday night.
COMMACK, NY - An 18-year-old woman crashed her car into a tree while driving on the Northern State Parkway on Tuesday night, according to State Police.
The teen was driving an 2001 Acura when she lost control for unknown reasons and struck a tree in the center median while eastbound Northern Parkway near Commack Road in Commack at about 11:08 p.m., police said.
Both the driver and her passenger were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital. Their injuries did not appear serious, police said.
