Teen Dies After Crashing Into Trees On Northern State
The 18-year-old died following the crash on Tuesday morning, police said.
COMMACK, NY - A Bay Shore teen was killed after crashing into several trees while driving on the Northern State Parkway on Tuesday morning, according to State Police.
Khalid A. Hill, 18, was driving a 2001 Honda Accord eastbound on the parkway east of New Highway when he went off the roadway striking multiple trees at about 10:19 a.m.
Hill was then transported by Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown, where he succumbed to his injuries. The roadway was reopened after several hours.
