United Cerebral Palsy Employee Falsely Reported Sexual Abuse: Police
The 53-year-old made a claim that a male employee, who she previously dated, inappropriately touched a resident of the home, police say.

COMMACK, NY - A United Cerebral Palsy employee was arrested on Wednesday morning for falsely reporting an incident about a sexual offense between an employee and a vulnerable person, according to Suffolk Police.
An anonymous caller made an allegation to the New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs that a male employee of a United Cerebral Palsy residence on 159 Indian Head Road inappropriately touched a female resident of the home, police said.
An investigation by Fourth Squad detectives determined the anonymous caller was another employee, Judy Campbell, 53, of Amityville, police said.

Campbell, who had previously dated the male employee, admitted she lied about the allegation, police said
A further investigation concluded no abuse occurred.

Campbell was arrested and charged with third degree falsely reporting an incident. Campbell will be arraigned on Wednesday.
