Westy Hosts Life is Music, Music is Life Benefit Concert

Westy Self Storage in East Northport, NY will be hosting a benefit concert for Life is Music, Music is Life, a not-for-profit organization. An evening filled with beautiful music with a reception to follow will take place on April 28 at 7:30 p.m. All money raised will go directly to the group’s scholarship fund.

The group, Divalicious!, will present selections from the Broadway stage to the Met Stage and everything in between. Divalicious! features Gina Haver, Ruthann Turekian, Leslie Valentine and Daniel Ragone. Come hear some old favorites and be introduced to some new ones.

The mission of Life is Music, Music is Life is to assist, with scholarships, students with a passion for music but not the financial resources to afford lessons. They also hope to help with the cost of instrument rentals and the purchase of an instrument if needed. Students who enjoy sharing their gift of music with others will be encouraged to give back to the community by performing at senior centers, nursing homes and other facilities alongside professional musicians and mentors.
