The Legislature passed 879 bills which Governor Hocul signed into law. They passed 141 bills which Governor Hocul vetoed.
There were weekly bills in April and May for emergency appropriations to keep NY government operating because the budget was not passed in April as required. Bills relating to the operation of NY counties and towns including fire districts, highway departments and use of Indian tribal land were passed.
Bill S8812 Relates to the effectiveness of provisions of law relating to providing that in the case of any application for gas service to a building which is not supplied with gas, a utility corporation or municipality shall be obligated to provide gas service to such building.
