Woman Used Fake Money To Buy Jewelry: Police

Police are seeking the public's help to identify a woman who they say used counterfeit bills to buy jewelry.

Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help to identify a woman that used counterfeit money to make purchases in Commack in November.

According to police, the woman pictured above used counterfeit $100 bills to purchase jewelry at Popi's Place, located at 6560 Jericho Turnpike, in Nov. 29 at 3:50 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
