A Heartfelt Community Celebration: Blessing of the Animals & Autumn Makers Market Comes to Manzi Hall

Celebration at St. Peter & St. Paul’s Church on Sunday, October 4, 2026, as the church hosts its annual

Blessing of the Animals & Autumn Makers Market at Manzi Hall.

The day’s festivities begin with a Holy Mass at 11:15 AM, presided over by Bishop Peter Robert Raimondi, setting a meaningful and spiritual tone for the afternoon ahead.

From 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the celebration continues outside with the beloved Blessing of the Animals, a cherished tradition honoring Saint Francis of Assisi.

Individual blessings will take place from 1 pm to 3 PM in the adjacent and beautiful Veterans Memorial Garden, in front of its striking 15-foot wooden cross—offering a peaceful and memorable setting for pets and their owners alike.

The event will also feature a vibrant Autumn Makers Market, showcasing a wide array of local artisans and small businesses. Outdoor Vendors will fill the backyard, including crafters and hobbyists offering handmade goods, from jewelry to gourmet sweets and seasonal treats and wares. Inside Manzi Hall, exhibitors will present service- based and promotional offerings for the community.

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day from the featured on-site food truck, along with additional snacks and beverages from the church inside Manzi Hall, including their famous $2 Hot Cocoa.

Adding to the excitement, attendees will have the opportunity to meet adoptable pets, with Hope for Cleo Animal Rescue, a local organization, present to assist with on-site adoptions—making it the perfect chance to welcome a new furry family member.

This family-friendly event promises something for everyone—faith, fellowship, shopping, food, and fun—all in one memorable autumn afternoon.
