14-Year-Old Girl Boarded LIRR Train, Reported Missing: PD

Mikayla Abreu, 14, was last seen boarding a westbound Long Island Rail Road train at the Wyandanch train station, police say.

WYANDANCH, NY — Suffolk County Police are asking for the public's help to locate a Dix Hills teenager who was reported missing on Saturday morning.

Mikayla Abreu, 14, was last seen on Saturday boarding a westbound Long Island Rail Road train at the Wyandanch train station, located on Straight Path, at about 10:30 a.m., police said.

Abreu is Black Hispanic, 5-feet 1-inch tall and 100 lbs., police said, and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green sweater with a black jacket, a multi-colored head scarf, pink and white shoes, and gray sweatpants, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Abreu’s location to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or 911.
