NORTH BABYLON, NY -- Two night time employees at North Babylon High School recently tested positive for COVID-19, the school district announced on Tuesday.
In a letter to the community, Superintendent Glen Eschbach wrote that the two employees have not had any contact with students and will not be allowed to return to work for at least 10 days.
The employees must also be symptom free for at least 24 hours and have a negative test result before returning to the high school.

"Anyone not contacted can assume they were not determined to be in close contact with the staff members, meaning they were not within 6 feet of the person for at least 15 minutes starting from two days before the onset of the illness, or if asymptomatic patients, two days prior to a positive test," Eschbach wrote in the letter.
