4 Long Island Towns Make List of Luckiest in New York

Have you ever wondered which Long Island towns have the best luck when it comes to winning the lotto?

Well, even if you haven’t, RoadSnacks says it has figured it out. The “infotainment” website says it has determined the luckiest towns in New York based on population numbers and winning New York Lottery results. Four Long Island towns made the list of the 10 luckiest in New York, with New Hyde Park coming in at No. 1.

“Statistically, you have a 1 in 2,125 chance of hitting a $25,000 or more payout here every year,” RoadSnacks says about New Hyde Park. Of course, that’s only if you actually play the lotto.

Here are the 10 luckiest towns in New York:

1. New Hyde Park
2. Farmingdale
3. Webster
4. Depew
5. Middletown
6. New Windsor
7. Wappingers Falls
8. Pelham
9. Lindenhurst
10. Westbury
