WEST BABYLON, NY — A man reported that someone fired water pellet shots at him late Wednesday night, Suffolk police said.
The man called 911 at around 11:45 p.m. to report that someone fired water pellets at him from a motor vehicle on Montauke Highway, and fled, according to police.
When officers arrived, he refused help, as well as medical attention, police said.
He also refused documentation, according to police.
It is not clear if the man was on foot or in a vehicle.
