Women Wanted After $2.4K Theft Spree At Deer Park Stores: Police

Police say two women stole $2,475 worth of handbags and makeup from Coach and Sephora in Deer Park.

DEER PARK, NY — Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help identifying two women accused of stealing nearly $2,500 worth of merchandise from two Deer Park stores earlier this month.

The women stole handbags valued at $1,390 from Coach, located at 152 The Arches Circle, at about 7 p.m. on Aug. 6, police said.

A short time later, the pair stole an assortment of makeup products valued at $1,085 from Sephora, located at 637 The Arches Circle, according to police.

The combined value of the stolen merchandise was $2,475.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
