Back to School at the Deer Park Library
Come to the Library for all your homework, project and research needs!

September means the end of the summer, cooler weather and new school supplies! The Deer Park Library can also be a vital part of your back to school routine.
First, it's Library Card Sign-up Month! If you don't have a card, stop in with a driver's license or two forms of identification with a Deer Park address and get a new card on the spot. You can also get library cards for your children. This card gives you access to books, movies, music, and all of our online databases.
Need help with homework or a project? With your library card, you can have 24/7 access to databases, encyclopedias, newspapers and magazines. You can also access Brainfuse, the online homework help program that provides assistance in writing skills, adult learning and core subjects for kindergarten through high school. There's even an online tutor!

Lastly, each fifth grade student receives a Macbook through the One-to-One Program sponsored by the JFK Intermediate School. The Deer Park Library has partnered with the school to ensure a safe study environment and wireless access for students who don't have wireless access at home.
Remember, if you can't get to the Library, visit us online at deerparklibrary.org. Kids can click on the "Children's Room" section for homework help links, teens can go to "Teen Scene" and adults can do research by clicking on "Start Your Research Here."
