PreDx Diabetes Risk Score Testing
This test helps to identify if a patient is at high risk of developing diabetes.

The Diabetes Risk Score Test is a fasting blood test that helps physicians to identify patients who are at high risk of developing diabetes. This test results are based strictly on a person’s health status, not on genetics. This test helps physicians treat patients and help them to pin point a person’s risk for diabetes, how near they are to developing it, and help them control it and hopefully decrease their chances of getting diabetes. Based on your levels, it shows approximately when you will develop diabetes. The levels range from 1-10, 1 being low risk, and as the number increases, so does the risk for diabetes. A high level means a high risk for diabetes and that person is more likely to develop diabetes within 5 years. Depending on the person’s level, the physician may put them on a treatment plan to help them lower their level and decrease their risk for diabetes.
