What Signs To Look For If You Think Someone Is Having A Stroke

If a person who has a stroke gets treated within 3 hours of their stroke, there is a good chance the neurologist can reverse the effects of the stroke. The patient must be in the doctors care, diagnosed and medically treated all within that 3 hour window if there is going to be a good outcome.

It is so important for people to recognize the signs of someone having a stroke so that they can get them medical attention right away!

If you think someone may have suffered a stroke, you need to ask them these three things:

1. Ask them to Smile
2. Ask them to Talk, or Speak a simple sentence
3. Ask them to raise both their arms

If the individual has trouble with any one of these, call 911 for help immediately.

By getting the individual help right away you could be saving their life!
