Tanger Outlets Deer Park Celebrates Earth Day with Barnyard Bash, April 25

To celebrate Earth Day on April 22, Tanger Outlets Deer Park invites families to join its Earth Day Barnyard Bash on April 25, from 1-3 p.m. Guests will be able to enjoy a petting zoo, bee workshop, face painting, scavenger hunt, a make-and-take craft station and more.

Also during the month of April, shoppers can give back by donating two pairs of used sneakers at Tanger Deer Park from April 18-19 and April 25-26, 1-4 p.m. Guests who donate will receive a special offer for 20 percent off top brands like Under Armour, Old Navy and Skechers. Sneakers collected will be recycled through Tanger’s partnership with Sneaker Impact, repurposing them into rubber material for future soft play surfaces and other usable products.  

Tanger Deer Park is proud to continue its partnership with urban beekeeping company Alvéole to house bees in a rooftop hive as part of its ongoing effort to support local pollinator populations. These pollinators play an important role in contributing to a healthy, balanced ecosystem. Due to efforts from community partners like Tanger and Alvéole, honeybee populations across the country have been on the upswing in recent years.
