Congratulations, Gianna Giffone, Deer Park High School Class Of 2021

DEER PARK-NORTH BABYLON, NY — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted.

Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members to pay tribute to this year’s grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one.

Gianna Giffone will graduate from Deer Park High School.

Plans after graduation: Will attend Quinnipiac University

Accomplishments: Gianna is ranked 6th in her class with a GPA of 106.667. She has earned awards in AP Scholar with Distinction, All County For Soccer and Breakfast of Champions. She has Honor Society Achievements in Spanish, Math, Science, Tri-M Music and is in the National Honor Society. Gianna has been in Pop Orchestra and Varsity Leaders Club. Giannas other activities include Soccer, Track, Violin and Piano.

Special message: We are all proud of Gianna for leading by example. She always does her best. We wish her the best of luck in her new exciting journey into college. We are sure she is bound to do great things!
