Copiague Woman Failed To Provide Vet Care To 9-Year-Old Dog: SPCA
The 43-year-old was arrested last week for animal cruelty, officials say.

COPIAGUE, NY - A Copiague woman was arrested last for neglecting her 9-year-old Maltese Yorkie, the Suffolk County SPCA announced on Monday.
Charity Dixon, 43, was arrested on Wednesday for failing to provide necessary veterinary care for her dog, Precious, the SPCA said..
She was charged with animal cruelty. Precious is currently at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter.

Dixon is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 28.
