Councilman Donnelly Recognizes 9/11 Essay Contest Winners

Councilman Donnelly congratulates essay contest winners.

Babylon Town Councilman Tom Donnelly recently recognized Joseph Thomas of Deer Park High School and Matthew Heinen of Robert Frost Middle School for winning the Deer Park Fire Department’s Annual September 11th Essay Contest. For the contest, participants were asked to write 500 words or less about why it is important to remember the events of September 11th, 2001. The winners were awarded with $50 gift cards at the Deer Park Fire Department’s annual 9/11 memorial ceremony.
