Deer Park DECA Students Earn 27 Trophies At County Competition
Nearly 900 students competed countywide, with Deer Park advancing dozens to the state level.

DEER PARK, NY — Business students from Deer Park High School earned 27 trophies at DECA’s recent Suffolk County Regional Competition, advancing dozens of students to the state level.
A total of 76 students from the school’s DECA club, guided by adviser Gregory Menig, competed against nearly 900 students from across Suffolk County for spots at the New York State Career Conference.
Deer Park students delivered standout performances across a wide range of competitive business categories, earning 27 trophies and nine honorable mentions.

The trophy winners will advance to New York DECA’s 67th annual State Career Conference, scheduled for March 4–6 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester. There, students will compete for a chance to qualify for the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
