Freshman Kaliyah Hull was recognized as Deer Park High School’s Student of the Month for March.

“Kaliyah Hull is an outstanding student in my Spanish 2 class,” said teacher Heather Nola, who nominated Hull for the award. “She works hard, participates and does her best daily with a smile in her eyes, as I cannot see her true smile behind the mask! I nominated her for Student of the Month because of her diligence. Every virtual day she was online completing her work during her slotted class time. Her strong work ethic surely contributes to her 100 overall average in Spanish this year. Additionally, she is a member of the girls track team and works tirelessly to achieve her goals. She has a growth mindset and is a true leader in our school.”
