DEER PARK, NY — A Deer Park man is facing charges after authorities said he fatally shot his mother inside their home.Tyler Strauch, 26, is charged with second-degree murder after Suffolk County police said he shot his mother Friday around 9:20 p.m. His mother, 64-year-old Deborah Strauch, died at the scene, police said. No additional information was immediately available.Tyler Strauch was scheduled to appear in court Saturday.
