DEER PARK-NORTH BABYLON, NY - People from all across the country — including Deer Park-North Babylon residents — will get the chance to cast their votes and elect their representative on Tuesday.

Election day - Tuesday, Nov. 5

Candidates

Babylon town:

Town council - Incumbents Jacqueline Gordon (D) and Terence McSweeney (D) are being challenged by William Barci (R), Tina Kremer (R), Walter Angevine (L) and Heath Broughton (L).

Receiver of taxes - Edward Blankenhorn Jr. (R) and Jennifer Montiglio (D) are vying for the seat left open by Corinne DiSomma.

Suffolk county:

2nd District court judge - Carl Copertino (R), William "Matt" Groh (R), John Kelly (D) and Rosann Orland0 (D) will be on the ballot for two open seats.

Suffolk County legislator district 14 - Incumbent Kevin McCaffrey (R) is being challenged by Thomas Garguilo (D).

Suffolk County legislator district 15 - Incumbent DuWayne Gregory (D) is being challenged by Christopher Connors (R).

Suffolk County legislator district 16 - Incumbent Susan Berland (D) is being challenged by Hector Gavilla (R).
