DEER PARK, NY — A Deer Park High School student was recently selected to perform in the Suffolk County Music Educator's Association All-County Jazz Ensemble.The Deer Park School District announced Friday that senior Damian Saladino was one of only 20 students selected by way of an audition to perform in the group, and the sole baritone saxophone player from Suffolk County."To be the only baritone saxophonist chosen to perform with the All-County Jazz Ensemble, out of the entire county, is quite an accomplishment," said music teacher Louis Nicolosi. "As Damian's jazz band teacher, I couldn't be more proud and happy for him."
