Deer Park Students Named Top 10 In Graduating Class
Deer Park High School recognized its Top 10 highest performing students from the Class of 2022.

DEER PARK, NY — Several Deer Park High School students have been recognized for ranking in the top percentile of their graduating class.
The Deer Park School District announced Friday that the school's top ten seniors were honored in a special ceremony this month for their outstanding academic performance.
Nicholas Stamatakis, the upcoming valedictorian, was ranked first, with future
salutatorian Saima Hoque ranking second. Rounding out the Top 10 were Rumeysa Camlica
(third); Giovanna Giffone (fourth); Andrew Dolinsky (fifth); Kylie Kuhn (sixth);
Megan Bush (seventh); Nicholas Glancy (eighth); Shadat Alam (ninth); and Pritheva Zakaria
(10th).

School administrators and students' families were also in attendance. Principal Charles Cobb commended the students for their hard work and perserverance.
“This is a momentous occasion and the culmination of 13 years of these students’ hard work, dedication and constant pursuit of perfection in what they do academically," said Cobb.
"The accomplishments of these students — not only here at the high school but for what they’re
going to do after they leave — will no doubt leave an indelible mark on our society and as
members of this community."
