Deer Park's JQA Primary School Named Recognition School

DEER PARK, NY - Deer Park’s John Quincy Adams Primary School was recently named a Recognition School by the New York State Education Department.

The recognition is given to schools that rewards educational excellence in student performance.

As a result of this honor, JQA Principal Christopher Molinelli was presented with a certificate at the district’s Sept. 24 Board of Education meeting.

"We are honored to have received this recognition from the state of New York," Molinelli said. "This award is a culmination of the hard work and teamwork of our awesome staff and wonderful parents."
