Driver Charged With DWI After Crashing Into Pole: SCPD
The 33-year-old, who had a prior DWI conviction, was arrested for allegedly driving drunk after the crash Tuesday night, police say.
NORTH BABYLON, NY - A North Babylon woman was arrested for a DWI after crashing into a pole in North Babylon on Tuesday night, according to Suffolk Police.
The crash was reported on Phelps Lane at about 11:12 p.m. No serious injuries were reported.
Members of North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company also responded to the scene. They evaluated the driver at the scene but she was not hospitalized.

The 33-year-old driver was charged with DWI and DWI with a prior conviction, police said.
Police did not release her name.
