87-Year-Old Driver Crashes Into North Babylon Pizzeria: FD
An employee inside the restaurant was hospitalized after the crash on Thursday afternoon.
NORTH BABYLON, NY - One person was hospitalized after an elderly driver crashed his car into a North Babylon restaurant on Thursday afternoon, according to the North Babylon Fire Department.
An 87-year-old man driving a 2004 Chevy crashed into the front window at Pizzaiola in the Sunset Plaza Shopping Center on 1162 Deer Park Avenue at about 3:05 p.m.
The driver was not injured.

The glass to the front of the store was shattered.
An employee was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with minor injuries.
