Drunk Mom Crashed Car With 5 Children Passengers Into Pole: PD
The 47-year-old woman was driving with her 13-year-old daughter and 4 other children in the car when she crashed Saturday night, police say.
DEER PARK, NY - A Deer Park woman crashed into a pole while driving drunk with her 13-year-old daughter and four other children in the car in Deer Park on Saturday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Jacquelin Moore, 47, was driving a 2012 Mercedes Benz on Acorn Street near Half Hollow Road when she crashed the car into a utility pole at 10:10 p.m., police said.
A 16-year-old female passenger was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

The four other passengers, 15, 13 and 12-year-old females, and a 7-year-old male were not injured.
The children were released to the custody of family members.

Moore was charged with DWI, four counts of aggravated DWI with a child passenger 15 years or younger under Leandra’s Law and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, police said..
She was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct.
