Drunken Woman Crashes Into Pole In Wyandanch: Police

The 21-year-old crashed into a utility pole, causing the car to overturn Sunday night, police say.

WYANDANCH, NY — A drunken Brentwood woman has been arrested after crashing into a pole in Wyandanch on Sunday night, police said. Brianna Williams, 21, was driving a 2016 Honda Accord westbound on Levey Boulevard around 9:20 p.m. when she lost control of the car and struck a utility pole, police said.

The crash caused the Honda to overturn. Williams was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where she was treated and released.

She was later charged with DWI.
