DIX HILLS, NY — A 27-year-old man from East Northport was seriously injured in a single-car crash in Dix Hills early Saturday morning, according to Suffolk County police.Patrick Salvo was driving a 2019 Mazda CX-5 northbound on East Deer Park Road just north of Deforest Road North around 3:10 a.m. when he lost control of the car. He crossed the southbound lanes and struck a tree, police said.Salvo was taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore in serious condition.Anyone with information about the crash is urged to contact the Suffolk County Police Department Second Squad at (631) 854-8252.
