Content Writer for e-Commerce Company in Deer Park

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Write, maintain, organize and edit content about products across a number of varying websites
• Work closely with the web design team, SEO dept. and Customer Service
• Ensure content is accurate, engaging and written in a style that uses SEO best practices
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), online user behaviors and trends, and website interactions is a plus but not necessary. Basic training and overview of SEO will happen on the job as needed.
• Juggle multiple projects and/or priorities simultaneously
• Evaluate effectiveness of content and use results to test and revise content

SKILLS
• Strong writing, proof-reading/editing and communications skills
• Enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment
• Love to learn and keep up with the industry, enjoy figuring things out
• Interested in all things web-related, including the web design process, user experience, conversion, etc.
• Computer savvy
• Strong research and analysis skills
• Self-directed and reliable, able to learn from mistakes
• Gets along well with others/likes people
• Reliable and on time
