Minor Collision With Fire Truck Responding To Blaze Reported

DEER PARK, NY - A North Babylon fire truck was involved in a minor crash in Deer Park while responding to a fire in Deer Park on Sunday morning.

A spokesperson for the North Babylon Fire Department said the truck was en route to the fire when the minor collision occurred with a Hyundai Elantra at about 7:40 a.m. on Deer Park Avenue and Bay Shore Road.

No injuries were reported.

The fire broke out on Long Island Avenue behind Astro Masonry & Supply. A total of 8 fire departments responded to the scene.
