DEER PARK, NY—Five students from Deer Park High School were named National Recognition Scholars by the College Board.

The award is determined by academic achievement and exceptional performance on the PSAT or AP exams.

Tovia Manning, Sydney Pottinger and Lindsay Williams were named National African American Recognition Program Scholars.
