Girl Injured, Struck By Pellet Gun In Tanger Outlets: PD
A 12-year-old girl was injured on Monday, after being shot by a pellet gun in the parking lot of a Tanger Outlets.

DEER PARK, NY — A 12-year-old girl was injured on Monday, after being shot by pellet gun in a Deer Park shopping center, Suffolk County Police said.
According to police, the girl was walking in the parking lot of the Tanger Outlets in Deer Park at about 5:20 p.m., when she was struck by a pellet fired from an airsoft gun by a person in a passing vehicle.
Following an investigation, police determined the same vehicle was involved in a similar incident on Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon about 20 minutes earlier. No one was injured in that incident, police said.

The girl was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The vehicle was described as a dark-colored four-door sedan, possibly a Hyundai Elantra, police said, and believed to be occupied by three or four males.
