How North Babylon Students Honored Hispanic Heritage Month

North Babylon High School's annual event brought families and community members together.

NORTH BABYLON, NY — North Babylon High School’s Cultural Celebrations Club hosted its annual Hispanic Heritage Showcase on Oct. 20, filling the auditorium with music, poetry, and vibrant dance.

Students performed traditional and contemporary pieces honoring Hispanic culture, including salsa, Salvadoreñas, and Dominican dances. The program also featured poetry readings and musical selections by celebrated Hispanic artists.

The event brought together families, staff, administrators, and community members for an evening highlighting the richness and diversity of Latin American traditions.
