Local Family Homeless, Can the Community Lend a Helping Hand?

A Copiague mom, Janet and her 12 year old daughter Charley lost all they had in Super Storm Sandy. Janet cannot find work and is currently on disability because she is in remission from Caner.  They were living in hotels, going from hotel to hotel, but are now living in an emergency homeless shelter in Ronkonkoma.  Janet and Charley have no family just each other and Janet would like to give Charley a stable environment - she just needs a little help.  The community can help so this Mom can concentrate on getting strong an healthy while providing a safe, warm place for her daughter to live.
