Lyft Driver Carjacked By Duo In Deer Park: SCPD
The two threatened to use a gun on the driver during the incident reported last weekend, police say. One arrest has been made so far.

DEER PARK, NY - Two robbers stole a Lyft driver's car after threatening him with a gun in Deer Park over the weekend, according to Suffolk Police.
The carjacking was reported on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. on Osceola Avenue.
An Amityville man was driving two passengers in the Lyft cab they threatened to use a gun in order to force him to leave the keys in the 2017 Honda Civic and exit the vehicle, police said.

The two men then drove off in the car.
No gun was displayed and no injuries were reported.

Following the incident, an 18-year-old Wheatley Heights man has been arrested and charged with second degree robbery in connection to the crime, police said. Police have not released his identity.
The second man is still at large.
