Man, 29, Injured In Shooting In Wyandanch: Police
According to police, the shooting happened shortly before 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
WYANDANCH, NY — A 29-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Wyandanch on Friday afternoon, according to Suffolk County police.
Authorities said officers responded to a shooting on North 16th Street around 12:50 p.m. Officers found the injured man when they arrived, police said.
The man, whom police did not identify, was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, authorities said.

Police did not say if a suspect is in custody.
