Man Arrested After Assaulting Deer Park Supermarket Employee: Police
It happened early Friday morning, police say.
DEER PARK, NY – A 27-year-old man was arrested after he assaulted a person at a Deer Park supermarket last week, Suffolk Police said.
William Chianese, of Bay Shore, is charged with second degree assault.
According to police, Chianese entered ShopRite located at 1960 Deer Park Ave. at about 3:30 a.m. last Friday and assaulted a member of the cleaning crew. The supermarket was closed at the time.

Chianese was arraigned on Saturday and released on $30,000 bond. He is due back in court on Wednesday.
