Man Caught Driving With Fake Plate, 53 License Suspensions: SCPD
The 59-year-old was pulled over driving a Mercedes SUV, which was impounded, police say.

NORTH BABYLON, NY - A Bay Shore man was arrested after he was caught driving with fake license plate and 53 license suspensions in North Babylon on Wednesday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
Darrell Morgan, 59, was driving a 2000 Mercedes SUV on the Sunrise Highway North Service Road, near Hubbard Path, at 3:30 p.m. when police initiated a traffic stop, police said.
During the investigation, it was determined Morgan was driving with a fake New Jersey license plate, police said.

Officers determined his New York driver’s license had been suspended 53 times, police said.
Morgan was charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The Mercedes has been impounded.
Morgan was released on an appearance ticket for a future court date at the Suffolk County First District Court in Central Islip.
