Man Dead After Deer Park Auto Body Shooting

DEER PARK, NY — A man is dead, after he was shot and injured outside an auto body shop in Deer Park on Monday evening, Suffolk County police said.

At about 7:50 p.m., a 911 caller reported an injured man at Triple J, located at 251 B Skidmore Road.

When police arrived, they found the man inside the auto body shop, which was open.

The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Detectives are currently investigating the case.
