Man Fired A Gun During Wyandanch House Party: PD

The 27-year-old was arrested after firing the gun during an argument outside on the street on Sunday, police say.

WYANDANCH, NY — An Amityvillle man was arrested after firing a handgun during a party in Wyandanch on Sunday, according to Suffolk Police. Officers responded to a home on Brooklyn Avenue after hearing gunshots while on patrol at 12:26 a.m., police said.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found that 27-year-old Aaron Pearson had fired a handgun near a group of people after getting into an argument on the street in front of the house, police said.

No one was injured. The weapon was recovered and Pearson was arrested, police said.

He was charged with first degree reckless endangerment and second degree criminal possession of a weapon.
