Man Killed At Party In Wyandanch: Police

WYANDANCH, NY — A man was killed overnight at a party in Wyandanch, according to police.

Authorities responded around 1 a.m. Sunday to a 911 call that a man had been shot on East Booker Avenue, police said. When officers arrived, they found 37-year-old Frederick Jackson in a backyard with a gunshot wound, according to police.

Jackson, of Wyandanch, was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
