Man Robbed at Gunpoint While Pumping Gas in Deer Park

DEER PARK, NY – A man was robbed at gunpoint as he pumped gas at a Deer Park gas station Tuesday evening, police said.

According to Suffolk Police, the victim was at the Citgo station located at 41 Suburban Ave. around 5:15 p.m. when a man approached him and displayed a gun.

The man demanded cash, which the victim handed over, police said. The robber then fled on foot northbound on Commack Road, police said.

No arrests have been made.
