
Police are seeking a man who robbed a North Babylon bank Tuesday morning.
According to police, the man entered Capital One, located at 1383 Deer Park Avenue, at 11:45 a.m. and verbally demanded money from a teller. The teller complied with the man’s demands and the robber fled on foot northbound through the parking lot.
The robber was described as Hispanic, about 5-foot-6, between 40 and 45-years-old with a medium build. He was wearing shorts and a dark-colored T-shirt.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
The North Babylon bank was also robbed on July 2. The next day, a Holbrook man was arrested and charged in that robbery and eight other bank robberies in the county.
