Man Robs North Babylon Bank
BREAKING: The robber handed a teller a note demanding cash Thursday afternoon, police say.
NORTH BABYLON, NY – Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in North Babylon Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the man entered the Capital One bank located at 1383 Deer Park Ave. at about 4:05 p.m., approached a teller and demanded cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot in a southeasterly direction from the bank.
The robber was described as white, between 25 and 30-years-old, approximately 5-foot-10 with a slim build. He was wearing a baggy dark-colored top and pants.

The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
