Man Tries To Rob Deer Park Gas Station At Gunpoint

It happened early Friday morning, police say.

Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred at a Deer Park gas station last Friday morning.

According to police, a man entered the Valero station at 355 Bay Shore Road at about 1:10 a.m. He displayed a gun, but he fled before getting any proceeds, police said. No injuries were reported.

Police did not release a description of the gunman.
