Man Wanted For Rape, Police Say

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Human Trafficking Investigations Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate a man who is wanted for rape, police said.

Philip Evanson, 28, is wanted for having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl, police said. Evanson’s last known address is 220 Adams St. in Deer Park and he is known to frequent Deer Park and Bay Shore.

Evanson is described as black, 6-foot-3 and about 190 pounds. He may have a beard. Evanson is believed to be employed as a solar panel installer and he drives a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle with New York plate 75TG61, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
