Maryann Maltese Petitioning for NYS Primary June 23rd

Maryann Maltese, Democratic Candidate for NYS Assembly-12th will be petitioning to get on the ballot for June 23rd's Statewide Primary between 4-5pm today.

Maryann served as a Public Officer in the NYS Legislature, holding various titles within the NYS Senate and NYS Assembly for 18 years, as Regional Planner, Chief of Staff, Director of Community Relations, Director of Legislative Matters and Grass Roots Guru. Retirement hasn't stopped Maryann from being a community activist for our district. Maryann subsequently went back to to school to receive her license in Hair Styling (Northport Boces) and Real Estate. Maryann is a Certified Substitute Teacher, helping out Brentwood UFSD, in her spare time.

Now, on the 100th Anniversary of Women's Suffrage Movement, Maryann is taking the next step in our district's journey in running as a Candidate for the NYS Assembly. Maryann has the background, knowledge and know-how to bring back revitalization to our district. Maryann has worked on many successful Business Improvement Districts and made recommendations that came to realization. The Assembly District takes in North Babylon, West Islip and Huntington Townships.
